Information We Collect

When you submit an access request or use an account, we collect the information you provide. We also keep first-party operational records — such as the original public page, approved campaign tags, entry link, and external referrer on an access request, plus security/audit logs — to operate the service and understand how it is used. We do not use third-party analytics tools. We do not collect sensitive personally identifiable information (PII) beyond what is necessary to operate the service, and we will never sell your personal information to third parties. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Communicate with you about your account, product updates, and announcements you have opted into.
• Improve and develop our products and services based on aggregate usage patterns.
• Respond to support requests and feedback.
• Maintain the security and integrity of our platform.

Customer content may be processed by model providers only to operate the workflows you request. We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use customer account data to build advertising profiles.

Third-Party Services

RealClear is hosted on industry-standard cloud infrastructure for the web app, backend services, database, document storage, email, and model-provider workflows. These providers are contractually obligated to handle your data securely and only for the purposes we specify. See our current list of sub-processors for the specific providers we use and what each one processes.

Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. If you request deletion of your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or legitimate business necessity (e.g., fraud prevention or legal compliance).

Attribution submitted with an access request is retained with that request and is subject to the same access, correction, and deletion rights described below.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction — request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Deletion — request deletion of your personal data, subject to applicable legal obligations.
• Opt-out — unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time via the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting us directly.
• Portability — request a machine-readable export of your data.

CCPA and GDPR Compliance

California residents (CCPA): You have the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete it, the right to opt out of its sale (we do not sell personal information), and the right to non-discrimination for exercising these rights.

EEA/UK residents (GDPR): Our legal basis for processing your personal data is consent (for marketing communications) and legitimate interests (for product improvement and security). You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

Cookies

Signed-in product areas. When you are logged into RealClear (your account dashboard, workspaces, and admin surfaces), we set only essential cookies necessary for the platform to function — such as authentication session tokens and security tokens. We do not run third-party analytics or advertising cookies in these signed-in areas, so your account activity, property research, and workspace URLs are never sent to third-party analytics providers.

Public marketing pages. Our public marketing pages do not run third-party analytics and do not set third-party analytics or advertising cookies. We use one first-party operational cookie for up to 30 days to preserve the original public page and the approved campaign tags that led to an access request. When you submit that request, we also record its bounded entry link and the external referrer origin and path, if present. This information operates the directly provisioned access-request process; it is not advertising data and never grants access or controls authorization. Blocking this operational cookie prevents that attribution from being preserved but does not replace the essential authentication and security cookies required in signed-in product areas.
